Terms of service
Last updated 5 November 2026. Fyrhaven is operated as an enskild firma (a sole trader) under Swedish law — see the imprint for who that is. Plain language; if a clause matters to you, ask and I will explain it.
What you can buy
- Fyrhaven Cloud — a subscription per workspace, monthly or yearly. It covers hosting of your records (projects, notes, consent records, history) on this service, and access through the Fyrhaven CRM plugin.
- Self-hosted licence — the server software to run on a machine you control, with 12 months of updates from the date of purchase. Renewal extends the updates; it is not required to keep running the version you already have.
Licence keys
A self-hosted licence is a signed key bound to one installation. You may move it to another machine using the release flow, but one licence does not cover two servers running at the same time. Keys are personal to the account that bought them.
Payment, renewals and cancellation
- Payments are handled by Stripe; the card details never reach this service.
- A subscription renews until you cancel. Cancel any time; it runs to the end of the paid period.
- Prices are shown including Swedish VAT (25%). The order confirmation lists the amount actually charged.
- Refunds: EU consumers have 14 days to withdraw, but for digital services delivered immediately the right is lost once access has begun — if you cancel inside 14 days and have not used the service substantially, ask and you will get your money back.
Availability
The service is run with care but without a formal SLA. Planned maintenance is announced where possible. Your records are exportable at any time (the plugin exports projects; the server exposes the same data through its API), because a service you cannot leave is not a service.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, or to attack it. Resource limits (records and bytes per workspace, requests per minute) exist so one account cannot take the service from the others.
Liability
The cap: each party's total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury), and nothing removes your statutory consumer rights.
Beyond that the service is provided as it is, without a warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. The practical advice stands: keep your own exports, which the plugin makes easy and which the API exposes, because a service you cannot leave is not a service.
Changes and law
Material changes to these terms are announced by email before they take effect. Swedish law applies, and the courts of Sweden have jurisdiction.
